As an Alexandria newborn lifestyle photographer, I’m dedicated to helping families preserve the memories of the early days of life with their new baby- in the comfort of their own home. Recently, I had the honor of photographing Baby R, who was about 3 weeks old during her session. Photographing her newborn session in their cozy home and working around her schedule took the stress away for her parents. She was alert and so sweet, making this such an enjoyable session!
Lifestyle newborn sessions are all about capturing the connection and love that surrounds a family during the first weeks after your baby’s birth. While I make sure to guide you with posing and prompts, I respect your space and wait for those real moments to happen- the ones with all the magic, the ones you will remember forever. You can expect our time together to last anywhere from 1-2 hours, depending on the baby and the situation. I usually shoot in a few spots with the best light around your house. This can be the living room, master bedroom, nursery, or all of the above!
