I first met this family last fall for a family session to announce their pregnancy, and was so excited to hear from them again! During that first session, Little E was full of spunk and giggles. She was all about playing games throughout the session, and I was all for it! Whatever it took to keep her smiling and engaged.
Mom later reached out to me to pencil in their in-home newborn session. Once she delivered their precious baby, we scheduled their session around those first two weeks of baby’s life. Having the session in their home made everything so easy and stress-free. No rushing, no packing a diaper bag, just a relaxed morning at home as a new family of four.
Their living room and master bedroom were filled with the most beautiful natural light, making these spaces the perfect setting to have the majority of their pictures taken.
When I arrived, baby G had a full tummy and was so content. He was sound asleep and very happy, making it easy to swaddle him and document those special quiet newborn moments.
Little E was so excited to introduce her new baby brother to me when I arrived! With an in-home newborn session, she was able to stay in her rhythm and play with her toys throughout, which made everything feel easy and natural for her. It was definitely less disruption to everyone’s schedule!
I can’t wait to see this family again as they continue to grow! Sessions like this are such a beautiful reminder of how quickly life changes, and how important it is to slow down and soak in the quieter moments.
