When I heard from this family inquiring about a newborn session in the comfort of their home, I was so excited! These are truly my favorite kinds of sessions. I love getting to know the parents and their kiddos and this sweet family is no exception!
Mom’s due date was near Christmas, making this session extra special. Big Sister C was so attentive and thrilled about welcoming her little sister and her excitement was so contagious. Baby C was just 8 days old during our session. I typically schedule newborn sessions when babies are very sleepy at 7-12 days old. This session was so sweet, as this little cutie enjoyed every minute of snuggling with her parents and big sister. We had so much fun together.
The M family have lived all over the world and recently moved to the DC area. As a fellow military spouse, I connect with this lifestyle on so many different levels. Although they are an Army family and we’re a Navy family, we have so much in common when it comes to places we have traveled to! In fact, Big Sister was using her popcorn bucket from DisneySea in Tokyo and enjoying her snack during our newborn session. I had to take a picture to remember the moment- my kids have similar buckets from the same theme park.
