Washington D.C. military events are always so special, and this retirement ceremony at the Army Navy Country Club was no exception. As a military spouse photographer, I’m honored every time I’m invited to document a milestone as meaningful as a retirement ceremony. This military retirement ceremony took place at the Army Navy Country Club, just outside the city in Arlington, VA. The setting was perfect and it was clear this event was planned with great thought and care. They had wonderful refreshments, including custom-made cookies, they hosted special guest speakers, and the family participated in the ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye by the end of the event.
