Spring in Japan.
We’ve been searching for early sakura (cherry) blossoms, in our area, since the weather feels like springtime in Japan! Earlier this week, we stopped by this lovely park. Although it was during the weekday, there were still lots of folks strolling and snapping photos of the sweet blossoms.

Over the weekend, we decided to hop in the car and drive a bit further to a location that has more than 400,000 ume, plum trees! We were still a bit early as most blossoms were only at 30%. I bet in a couple weeks this location will be blooming at full capacity! (more pictures below)
