M was so excited to schedule her high school senior session at Green Springs Garden Park. She contacted me last fall to schedule her late spring session, hoping to catch everything in bloom and to time it with that special season when college decisions start coming together.
Senior year is such a meaningful time. There’s an exciting mix of anticipation of everything to come, but also sometimes a very real sense of nostalgia and reflection. It can be really bittersweet for many seniors! I love getting to document that mix of excitement and nostalgia during senior sessions. It’s such a unique chapter to capture!
Green Spring Gardens Park is a beautiful location for senior photos in Northern Virginia, especially during the springtime. Between the flowers and greenery, the garden paths offer a wide variety of backdrops throughout the park.
Everything was blooming so beautifully during M’s session, which gave her gallery such a fresh and colorful feel. She also brought a few different outfits to change throughout our session, giving us lots of variety to work with. From cute summer dresses to a casual outfit featuring her college t-shirt, M fit right in with her lovely surroundings, while simultaneously representing her future plans!
One of my favorite parts of senior sessions is hearing about all of the plans my senior clients have for the future. In the fall, M will be heading to…drumroll…Syracuse!!
I just loved hearing about all of her goals and dreams beyond high school, and I know she will absolutely crush them!
