This senior session was one for the books! We met up at Union Market in Downtown D.C., which was bustling and vibrant. It was my first time shooting here, and I knew right away that it was perfect for this session. Shooting in a new location is always such a fun experience and exploring the streets of Union Market before diving into the record store shots was the perfect way to kick off her session. This senior wanted something unique and fun that reflected her personality, and the urban energy and her love of music came together beautifully in this session.
She has a passion for singing and dreamed of having her senior photos taken at a record store. This location was the perfect fit. Before heading inside, we explored the surrounding areas and took some photos outside. There were a couple of really interesting restaurants that made for the perfect backdrop to some of her portraits. The restaurants weren’t open for the day yet, making it easy and comfortable to grab some unique shots before heading to the record store.
One of the best parts about senior photos is showcasing your personality in this exciting stage of life.
