This Old Town family session was so sweet! Their little girl just recently turned 3 and she was so full of giggles and energy. We moved quickly, as she was in a good mood and I knew it was only a matter of time before she would become tired. But she was in such a happy mood and it shined through in every photo! Mom and Dad really wanted photos that reflected her fun personality at this age- and I think we captured it perfectly. We kicked off the session with a game of peek-a-boo, which instantly brought out the biggest smiles!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather in Old Town Alexandria. Old Town residents love to go big for the holidays, and many were out decorating for Halloween. The streets were lively with people enjoying the weather and admiring the Halloween decor- but this little girl really stole the show! Many walkers stopped to smile at her playful personality as we made our way through the cobblestone streets.
Old Town has such a timeless charm and endless variety for photos. Between the historic brick walls, colorful doors, and beautiful waterfront parks, it offers incredible backdrops for both mini and full sessions. Every time I shoot here, I find something new to appreciate. It’s the perfect spot for families who want a mix of character and classic historic scenery.
