With the beauty of fall just around the corner, these short and sweet sessions make it easy to capture your family without the stress of planning a full session.
Whether you’re looking for historic cobblestone streets, iconic monuments, or open fields for the kids to run through, I’ve selected three beautiful locations for fall mini sessions in Northern Virginia and Washington D.C.
Old Town offers charming cobblestone streets, classic red brick houses, and gorgeous ivy backdrops, making it the perfect setting for fall photos.
The Jefferson Memorial is iconic for portraits in Washington, D.C. Some favorite spots include the tall marble columns, rotunda, and views of the Washington Monument. This site also offers a wide view of The Tidal Basin.
Fort Hunt Park is another wonderful location option for fall mini sessions. It has large open areas filled with green grass and gorgeous trees. This makes the perfect location for those looking for a playful session!
